The Louvre is the oldest museum in Europe.  The Louvre offers everything from Ancient Greek and Roman statutes, jewels, Renaissance masterpieces and....drum role please.....Leonardo Divinci's "Mona Lisa".  A visit to Paris would not be complete without a visit to the Louvre and also the Orsay Art Museum.

The Pompidou Modern Museum of Art offers a colorful and exciting collection of twentieth century art.  The fun begins even before you enter the center, just look at the interesting exterior here, which reminds many locals--and us--of an oil refinery.

Among the great works of Picasso, Dali, Miró and Warhol in the Pompidou, we found this delightful piece depicting the new president elect at the time, JFK.

Rich wanders the local streets of a neighborhood near the Eiffel Tower gathering treats for our picnic.

We sealed our trip to Paris with a sunset picnic under the Eiffel Tower.  Great cheeses, wines, and other culinary treats.

As the sun sets, the Eiffel Tower lights up the Paris sky.

We could fill pages and pages with photographs of Paris.  We have provided for you some of the greatest highlights.  We hope that you enjoyed your armchair trip to Paris.

And now you get to join us in Barcelona, Spain...without having to take the long night train to get there.
